Deia, Mallorca’s Garden of Eden
Deia is a World Heritage Site and enjoys approximately 300 days of sunshine a year. You can usually swim in the sea from April until October.

Deia is renowned for its famous restaurants, cafes and bars just a short walk from our home. The poet, Robert Graves house is just outside the village.
Weekly concerts on summer evenings, walking and cycling in spring and autumn, seeing and smelling almond, lemon and orange blossom in winter. All seasons are beautiful.
Valledemossa
Real Cartuja de Valldemossa is a famous royal palace and was a temporary home of Frederic Chopin. Visit on Sunday which is market day and enjoy the organic fruit & veg or have a Coca de Patata with a coffee in one of the cafes.
Stroll around Soller and enjoy its bustling square with many cafes. Take the tram to the Port or the wonderful old train to Palma.
Biniaraix is a little hamlet above Soller. It can be a start of an amazing walk to the very top of the Tramuntana mountains.
Fornalutx is considered Spain’s prettiest village, surrounded by orange trees with narrow streets to explore.

Sa Foradada & Son Marroig
Sa Foradada is famous for the hole in the rock which extends out into the sea. If you walk down be rewarded by delicious paella and a refreshing swim. You can also arrive by boat. The restaurant is run by Emilio Fernandez & his daughter Lidia. They have been making paella on wood fires since 1972 .
Son Marroig is a palace built by an Austrian archduke and is a venue for classical summer concerts. Visitors enjoy watching the sunset there while sipping a cocktail and listening to music.
The magnificent island of Mallorca is there to be discovered.
